'Flip' launch - Sarah Archer supporting Jessica Mauboy

'Flip' is now launching its camera in Australia. I have been using it for a few weeks now & it's amazing. So easy to use & perfect for my youtube/myspace stuff.

Byron -Surfing

We went surfing in Byron last week & Troy took some pictures of me coming in. It was small & fun. There were heaps of people out & they were running over each other but that's pretty normal here. The water was freezing & dirty but I had so much fun.

Back Home

Well I'm back home now. I have had a lot happen in the last couple of weeks. Alot of ups & downs. Its crazy how things change so quickly. 

While I was away in London I worked with some great musicians & writers & made new friends along the way. I ended up with some cool songs that I'm really happy with.

This day I travelled to Northampton. From the train I saw fields of yellow flowers everywhere & little cottages on my way to write with Adam Argyle. Working with Adam was great, I love the song we wrote.

Abbey Road

Today I went to Abbey Road.

It was really cool to be there. It was so weird standing outside looking at the building, the famous crossing & all the messages on the walls. It really was amazing....

London (Sunday) day 2

Day two in London we went exploring again.

We headed off to East London on the Tube & went to Brick Lane & The Flower Markets.

It was so hot, everyone was in summer dresses & everyone was in a good mood - maybe the public holiday the next day had something to do with it.

Saw some amazing vintage stores, galleries & great food. But again the people were so interesting. 

I loved seeing all the fashion in the streets & watched alot of weird & wonderful people. At one point we saw a guy at a bus stop having a great conversation with his imaginary friend. He was laughing & doing all the hand movements. He looked quiet happy.

For the rest of the week I will be writing with Ian Barter & having a few meetings so I'm glad I had some time to see the sights & rest a little.

First day in London

Well, what a crazy flight......

I arrived sat morning in London & hadn't really slept since wed (long story).

But I'm here at last. 

Its really amazing. The buildings are so beautiful & old & I love watching all the people.

Well.... next week I leave for London. I am going for a month on a writing trip & writing with some amazing people. I'm sssooo excited.

I haven't been to the UK & don't know anyone there, so it will be an adventure. I will be blogging & posting pictures every couple of days, so keep stopping by

Ladies Lunch Gig at Pearle

Hey.... On Friday I did a cool little gig at Circle on Cavill. It was at a really nice restaurant called Pearle. They had a ladies lunch on with fashion parades, fundraising for Care-flight etc.

I have been writing with Keir Nuttall recently in Brisbane (we wrote 'perfect day to start again') & last friday night we went to see him & Kate Miller Heidke play at Cooly Hotel. It was a great show. Here are some photos of them both. :)
